Introduction<\/h2>\n

The tenth International Conference on Hydrogen Safety (ICHS 2023<\/strong>) took place from 19 to 21 September 2023 at the Qu\u00e9bec City Convention Centre in Quebec City, Canada. Presented by the Government of Quebec<\/strong> (https:\/\/www.economie.gouv.qc.ca\/<\/a>), this major conference was organized in collaboration between the R\u00e9seau Qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois sur l’\u00c9nergie Intelligence (RQEI)<\/strong> and the International Association for Hydrogen Safety (IA HySafe<\/strong>). <\/span><\/p>\n

Context<\/h2>\n

Hydrogen has become an essential element for a transition to cleaner, secure and sustainable energy systems. For years, the ICHS has provided a global platform to discuss the safety implications of hydrogen. This conference brings together experts from all over the world every two years, who will exchange and present on discoveries, advances, best practices and regulatory standards in hydrogen safety.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”9207″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

Role of the QIBN<\/h2>\n

The RQEI, as the organizer, has brought together a multidisciplinary team composed of both students and technicians from different fields for more than a year, to ensure the coordination of the event. This participation is first of all a testament to its commitment to promoting smart energy solutions and safer energy practices; but also its commitment to encouraging student involvement in large-scale projects to facilitate their integration into the professional world.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”9208″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n
