Turn your ambitions into reality with the financial support of the RQEI! Offer training aligned with the research axes in energy transition, we finance your success!
Dear RQEI members,
As part of the continuous strengthening of our skills and alignment with the research axes defined by the Quebec Network for Intelligent Energy (RQEI), we are launching a call for training proposals.
QSN funding criteria:
Please note that the RQEI will fund training that clearly or marginally falls within the defined research axes. We therefore encourage you to offer training related to these areas in order to optimize the chances of funding. The current research axes are:
- Green and intelligent vehicle systems (battery electric vehicles and hydrogen fuel cells, energy optimization, intelligent navigation of mobile systems).
- Stationary systems (smart grids and microgrids, energy efficiency and management in buildings, renewable energy in remote areas).
- Storage and conversion (supercapacitors, batteries and thermal storage, bio-based alternative fuels, fuels and chemicals via clean hydrogen and CO2 capture and use).
Proposal options:
Successful existing training courses: If you have already provided training courses that have been very successful, we invite you to offer them again. Indicate the positive feedback received and any improvements envisaged. Please note that registration and travel costs for these training courses may be covered by the RQEI.
Adaptation of existing training: If you are aware of training offered in the institutions of RQEI members that could be adapted to our context, do not hesitate to suggest them.
New proposals: Of course, we are also open to new ideas for training that meet the current needs of our community and align with the RQEI’s research axes.
- Proposal Process:
- To submit a training proposal, please provide the following information by January 19, 2024:
- Course title
- Educational objectives
- Description of the contents
- Estimated
- Maximum number of people registered for a training session
- Rationale for alignment with the QISN research axes
- Estimated budget needed
Please send your proposals to rqei@uqtr.ca with the subject line “Training Proposal – [Your Name]”. We look forward to hearing about your innovative ideas and strengthening our skills together in our community.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or need clarification.
