The RQEI had the pleasure of participating in the 2025 edition of the Eureka Festival. It is the unmissable event for the popularization of science in Quebec. The event was held from May 30 to June 1, 2025 at Parc Jean-Drapeau in Montreal.

The three days of the festival were rich in discoveries and encounters. The rush of schoolchildren, children and adults to the RQEI booth was exceptional where two projects were presented.

The model of hydrogen storage in a metal hydride arouses a lot of interest among visitors. There are many questions about the sustainability, efficiency and safety of hydrogen-based technology solutions.

The energy bike was a great success. Young and old alike waited in front of the queue to compete and discover how much energy they were able to produce. After pedalling vigorously for 30 seconds, the visitors continued the discussion on responsible energy consumption.

It was a real living showcase of the energy transition, such opportunities represent an opportunity to popularize your research projects, to share your ideas with a curious and varied audience.
