RQEI Energy Journey 2025

RQEI Energy Trail: first trip to the Eastern Townships

On April 29 and 30, the Université de Sherbrooke invites RQEI students, collaborators and researchers to form a delegation to visit three major energy sites in Quebec: the UdeS Solar Platform, the City of Lac Mégantic’s microgrid and the City of Magog’s future microgrid. It is in line with the desire of the new management of the RQEI to encourage its members to contribute to the development and innovation of these shipyards by anchoring themselves to them and using them to contextualize and advance their research.

These visits are part of two local events, the Sherbrooke Entrepreneurial Expo and the Lac Mégantic Energy Transition Week , to bring together RQEI researcher and student members with local and municipal stakeholders.
