Inter-institutional Research Grants ($80,000)

A $40,000 grant

Four awards of $10,000

Conditions to be met:

  1. The Project must be related to the RQEI’s scientific program (https://www.rqei.ca/recherche/);
  2. The Project must involve at least two Network researchers from different institutions.

Research Grants for New and College Researchers ($40,000)

Four awards of $10,000

Conditions to be met:

  1. The Project must be related to the RQEI’s scientific program (https://www.rqei.ca/recherche/);
  2. The Project must involve at least two Network researchers from different institutions. The Principal Investigator is a new investigator (an applicant who has held an independent academic appointment for up to five years) or a college/CCTT researcher.

Research Infrastructure Sharing and Use Program ($90,000)

Nine $10,000 awards

Conditions to be met:

  1. Two institutions commit to sharing and using a common research infrastructure;
  2. The Project must be related to the RQEI’s scientific program (https://www.rqei.ca/recherche/);
  3. The Project must involve at least two researchers from the Network from different institutions;
  4. Submit the description of the shared infrastructure;
  5. Eligible expenses are the operating costs of existing shared infrastructure (billable hours, salaries of professionals, technicians, consumables, and new capitalized equipment [less than 10% of the grant]).
