Having graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Laval University, Debby is now pursuing her postgraduate studies in Professor Louis Gosselin’s laboratory at Laval University. Debby submitted her Master’s thesis in 2022 and is currently a PhD student in Mechanical Engineering within the same laboratory. She specialises in the study of human behaviour in residential buildings, energy efficiency and energy poverty. Her research project aims to integrate behavioural factors into building energy simulations. The intersection between the social sciences and engineering lies at the heart of her research.
