Project manager at the Innovative Vehicle Institute, Marc-Antoine Legault is a mechanical engineer and holds a master’s degree in robotics from the Université de Sherbrooke. He has been responsible for numerous research projects related to electric vehicles, applied, among other things, to high-capacity, high-voltage Li-ion tractive battery technologies. He also established a research group on autonomous vehicle technologies within the IVI. His field of expertise also extends to multiphysics simulations, the emulation of complex “hardware-in-the-loop” systems for the aeronautics industry and also the safety of Li-ion batteries. He also has a great interest in innovation management and the management of multidisciplinary R&D teams.
