Qingsong Wang

Qingsong Wang received her B.Sc. degree in Automotive Engineering from Jilin University, Changchun, China, in 2012, her M.Sc. degree in Automotive Engineering from Tongji University, Shanghai, China, in 2015, and her Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong, in 2018. Between July and September 2017, he was a visiting research associate at WEMPEC, the University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA.

He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the École de technologie supérieure – Université du Québec, Canada. From 2018 to 2019, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada; from 2019 to 2021 he was a Professor at Coventry University, Coventry, UK. His research interests include electrical machines and wireless power transfer, with applications in electrified transportation and renewable energy systems. He has published more than 30 peer-reviewed articles in journals and conference proceedings. He is an associate editor of the journal IEEE Transactions on Transportation Electrification and a senior guest editor of Energies.
