Younès Bareha
Younès Bareha, Ph.D., is a researcher specializing in anaerobic digestion and effluent treatment. He holds a PhD from Université de Rennes 1, and has completed postdoctoral studies at INRAE, Université Laval and, since April 2023, UQTR. A multidisciplinary professional, he has worked on the circular economy as applied to anaerobic digestion, participates in projects related to the use of hydrogen (CO2 capture, fuel for rail transport), and focuses on governance issues surrounding bioenergy projects. Author of a dozen publications, he leverages his expertise to develop integrated solutions combining the optimization of biological processes, the valorization of organic waste, and the transition toward sustainable energy systems.
