Municipal Research Chair for Sustainable Cities

“Mid-sized cities like Victoriaville have the same ambitions as large urban centres, but do not always have the resources required to carry out all their sustainable development projects. By setting up this new municipal chair model, we will be able to offer the scientific and technological support necessary to the City, taking into account the specific needs of its citizens and businesses and also the priorities of the day,” explained the holder of the Chair, Professor Simon Barnabé of the Department of Chemistry, Biochemistry and Physics at UQTR.
