Student Contest – 3 Minutes to Change the World

The AQPER is launching its 4th edition of the 3 minutes to change the world student contest, in collaboration with Transition énergétique Québec (TEQ). In one sentence: this is a science popularization competition on the energy transition open to graduate students. Is your research project about the energy transition? Are you fascinated by renewable energies? Do you want to change the world? This contest is for you!

This competition offers the finalists:

1. 1. the chance to win one of 3 cash prizes offered by Transition énergétique Québec totalling $3,000 : 1st prize of $1,500, 2nd prize of $1,000 and 3rd prize of $500;
   2. a full student ticket to the AQPER’s annual conference 2021
   3. a unique opportunity to present their research project to representatives of Quebec companies involved in Quebec’s energy transition;
   4. the opportunity to promote their research project to of the great public.

How does the final work?

In a maximum of 3 minutes, each finalist will have to present their research project related to Quebec’s  energy transition:

1. 1. in English or French;
   2. using only a slide (without animation or video) as support.
