A look back at the LTE Shawinigan tour November 28, 2023

The visit to LTE Shawinigan, a Quebec leader in energy innovation, offered a captivating immersion in the energy transition to graduate students from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, Université Laval and Université de Sherbrooke, all of whom are passionate about this field. Hosted by IREQ members, they explored research areas in energy efficiency, renewable energy and transportation electrification, as well as LTE Shawinigan’s cutting-edge technologies, highlighting the importance of innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration.

The exchanges with the team allowed the students to understand the specific challenges that LTE Shawinigan faces, opening up crucial perspectives. Interested in collaborations, the students explored opportunities to contribute to technological advances through internships and possible joint projects.

The visit was an exceptional experience for the students. We thank LTE Shawinigan for this opportunity and look forward to future collaborations.
