FRQNT The grant application is submitted!

We are happy to announce that the application was submitted on November 9th !

Since Tuesday, July 4, 2023, 9 students, 4 research professionals and a postdoctoral fellow have contributed directly to the FRQ’s grant application. It should be noted that work on the letter of intent for this application began in April for submission on May 1, 2023.

We would like to thank you all for submitting your VCCs and giving your consents to support the request! If accepted, it will allow our Network to live for the next few years.

Amount: $500,000 for a maturing group. Duration of funding: 2 to 6 years.

The next step is the visit of the FRQ in February.

The results: in April 2024.

We would like to thank Martine Tremblay for her decisive contribution in the last few weeks, Priyanka Bhatt who until the last minute struggled with her computer to add the last grants in the support module, Aziz Abdou Niakh for all the work of extracting the data from the CCVs, Catherine Lapalme, for the excellence of the bibliometric study carried out, the entire student team who carried out the analysis of the scientific productions of the RQEI members (Sullivan, Farshad, Adela, Youness, Amina and Ashkan), Yves Monette, Christian Patenaude, Claudie Beaudoin, Souad Tab, Jessica Rakotoarisoa as well as all the people solicited during this work and who gave their time and information to complete the Network’s report (the list is long)!
