On the sidelines of the Québec Mines + Énergie 2019 conference, which will take place in Québec City from November 18 to 21, the Ministère de l’Économie et de l’Innovation is organizing, in collaboration with the Réseau québécois sur l’énergie intelligente (www.RQEI.ca), a workshop with the RLS-Energie (https://www.rls-energynetwork.org) network. This workshop will be held on Monday, November 18, at the offices of the Ministère des Relations internationales et de la Francophonie (MRIF), located near the Québec City Convention Centre, where Québec Mines + Énergie 2019 is taking place.
Scientists from the Shandong, Upper Austria, Bavaria, São Paulo and Western Cape regions will be present.
Objectives of the workshop:
- Ensuring the exchange of information and expertise on renewable energy use and energy efficiency
- Identify possible forms of cooperation (e.g. H2020 multilateral cooperation, bilateral cooperation, e.g. smart campuses, etc.)
- Sharing best practices in energy transition
- To define new ways of thinking about international research collaboration in the field of energy innovation
- Recognize the work of researchers from the RQEI and the seven partner regions of the RLS-Energy Network
