
The Regroupement québécois en énergie intelligente (RQEI) and the Escouade Énergie are pleased to announce the launch of a call for projects based on community needs to support inter-level research projects in green hydrogen and bioenergy.
An amount of $350,000 will be allocated to inter-level research projects in response to the needs of the community, specifically:
Anamount of $250,000 will be allocated to a technology showcase.
Theseamounts of $50,000 will be allocated to two inter-level research projects in response to the needs of the community. One of these research projects will have to be in the field of hydrogen; the other, in the field of bioenergy.
Number of research projects funded: 3
Durationof funding: 12 months
This call is part of a collaboration agreement between the two groups, made possible thanks to the financial support of the Ministère de l’Environnement, de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques, de la Faune et des Parcs (MELCCFP). The initiative aims to structure and strengthen inter-level research in these strategic sectors of the energy transition.
The information session on this call (objectives, modalities, evaluation criteria, important dates, identified themes and answers to questions) will be held online on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at noon.

The completed project proposal must be submitted by email (RQEI@uqtr.ca) no later than October 3, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. (EST).
